WHAT WE KNOW:
It is part of the Smith Lincoln Park Subdivision.
In 1956 Angela Szmanski (possibly misspelled and should be Szymanski?) was reportedly living at this home with her nine month old son, Michael.
In 1974 the home was owned by a Mrs. and Mr. Tom Wahlers.
In 1989 the home was registered as a business named Trans West Inc. (a domestic profit corporation). The registration expired in 1992, listing a Mr. Samuel James Wahlers as the business agent. It’s not really clear what the business was, but two former employees are listed as having been a “journeyman painter” and a “supervisor/project coordinator.”
It was last sold in 2003, and in 2015 the home was listed as a foreclosure that would be going up for auction through the Wayne County circuit court. However, a second source lists that the house was sold between 2016 and 2017, and is no longer “on the market.”
