Annual “Movie in the Cemetery” event at the Redford Cemetery. Celebrating its 4th year, this Halloween themed event is more popular than ever! It sold out so quickly, in fact, that the Historical Commission had to add a second show after the first one. This year’s feature film is the ever-popular The Addams Family.
Fred W. Des Autels
Founder of the Redford Historical Commission, author of Redford’s only history book, noted historian and artifact collector. Some of Fred’s personal effects (courtesy of his family) are on display currently at the museum in honor of Fred’s hard work in making our 50th Anniversary “Heritage Day” exist in the first place!
Meetings and Open Hours
Regular meetings are held at 6pm on the second Thursday of every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November). Special meetings will be announced on this page. All Commission meetings are open to the public.
The Historical Commission is open the first and third Saturdays of each month from 12-3 and by appointment. Contact us to make an appointment.
