Upcoming Events

Heritage Day – May 4, 2019

Help us celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Historical Commission by honoring our founder and Redford’s first historian, Fred DesAutels, as well as past board members who have contributed to the preservation of Redford’s history. Enjoy refreshments while you view an exhibit on the DesAutels family. Talk with Board members past and present about Redford’s history. This is also a great opportunity to bring in the items you’ve been wanting to donate!

Current Exhibit

Stucky School

Display features photographs, apparel and commemorative mugs, buttons and bookmarks covering the elementary school’s history from 1949-2011. Of special interest are the contents of the 1979 and 2009 time capsules. **This exhibit is currently on display at the Community Center.
